North American center for advanced Wayist Training
Sarnia, Ontario, is home to the head office of Wayism International. In our 200sq m (2,500 sq ft) space in downtown, we have a small meditation centre and monastery, as well as our offices.
The mandate of Wayism International (non-profit) is to a) create and collect curated Wayist teaching, b) make teaching and coaching aids available to all, and c) to monitor training programs and ordain, licence and empower monks, teachers and healers.

Because of the socio-economic impact and heavy travel restrictions imposed on humankind during 2020 /2021, many monasteries, energy healing centers and devotional facilities across the world closed their doors — some permanently. Activities of monks in service to their communities were restricted and training centers were closed. This time brought great hardship on all, but also great opportunities to re-imagine the future.
Wayism International elected a new Board. We consolidated our resources. Human and material resources that could be moved from struggling Wayist Centers in Asia were consolidated in Canada. Funding was secured to relocate a small number of monks from Cambodia, Vietnam and/or India to Canada to provide ongoing devotional and training services.
A new international training center for ordained monks, teachers and healers is now established in Canada. Wayist Dharma Center in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada is a monastery. Wayism International consolidated its budgets and resources to maintain an international training center focused on online service delivery from its Canadian base.
Prajnaparamita School moved to this base.
Wayism International head office took offices at this base. From here all certification of monks, healers and teachers are managed.
Wayist Dharma Center in Sarnia has a small meditation and devotional meeting space.
Online training videos and programs are created and managed from this center.
Plans are well underway to open a Pneumatherapy training center in 2022. Courses will be moved online, but the certification phase will be completed in Sarnia.
There is increased interest in North America for Wayist Centers not only in major cities but also in smaller towns ideal for retreats. Wayist Dharma center in Sarnia endeavours to provide new centers with expertise and trained teachers, and monks.
